As an ode to spatial designers and their skill in concealing the important yet ugly parts of an interior, the artist focuses on ceilings in this series, the most mundane of spaces. Through the portrayal of ceilings in a new palette of colours, the artist seeks to bring recognition and appreciation to these everyday spaces that we tend to overlook.
Nature Retakes (2022)

Combining her interest in architecture and the environment, the artist envisions a future in which nature takes over the current landscape in a post-apocalyptic scenario. Decorated with impasto and glazing, the painting reflects on the skills that the artist has gained throughout the semester of painting.
