Echoes (2023)
Foamcore boards, balsa wood, coloured PVC sheets
Echoes is a continuation of Untitled and continues to explore the artist's connection and attraction to desolated spaces. As a series, Echoes experiments with different representations of these spaces in a more abstracted form.
Untitled (2023)
Coloured PVC sheets, basal wood, foamboards, lights
Untitled focuses on the artist's attraction to spaces that are devoid of human bodies. Her work seeks to find the relation between these spaces and the human mind.
Thyself (2022)
Balsa wood, acrylic paint, fake moss, mirrors, clear acrylic sheet
As a sculptural self-portrait, Thyself reflects the artist's identity. With elements of spatial design, the sculpture plays with spatial illusion and perspectives. At the same time, the broken mirror pieces signifies self-reflection within oneself, and the moss represents slow growth that the artist intends to achieve.
Oops, I spilled! (2022)
Found objects, rubbish, air dry clay, rocks
Meant as a mimicry of spilled mocktails, the artist uses a variety of found objects to imitate the flow of liquids from a coconut shell taken from the beach. At the same time, the materials transition from natural to manmade, a subtle change that eludes to the fact that ocean rubbish is making and leaving a mark on this planet.
Shape Cities (2021)
Wood, coloured PVC sheets, white acrylic paint
When viewing this angular city, the eyes will seek to fill in the geometricity with curves, completing the sculpture and giving it its shape. The shadows highlight the spaces between, casting whimsical experiences individual to each. Use your personal light source for a unique experience.
